Two of us - a gay male writer and a lesbian female writer - decided to create a group for LGBTs who are serious about their writing, and want to share their work in an environment that understands and celebrates LGBT literature. A group of serious writers from Queens who want to workshop their writing once a month.  All types of writing are welcome, but membership in the group is dependent on submitting a sample of your writing and having it approved.  There is a $5 membership fee once you are accepted in order to cover the Meetup costs.
